Meet GeorgeOur InspirationOur 17 year old son, George, attempted to complete suicide.
He remains in critical care where he is currently in a disordered state of consciousness. We want no other young person to suffer. We want no other family or friends to suffer. George is so loved. The support of family, friends and strangers in our mission has been wonderful. #getyoungpeopletalking - Hilary & David (Mum & Dad) |
Suicide Awareness
Our aim is that suicide awareness is made a compulsory part of the RSE element of the National Curriculum. We believe that students should be able to access an accredited course. We are raising funds to support the costs of schools and colleges in so doing.
We are also raising funds to encourage peer support and access to age-appropriate counselling.
